Alaska Ferry Service to Gustavus/Glacier Bay!

(Gustavus, Alaska) – The Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) has weekly sailings to the Northern SE Alaska community of Gustavus, the Gateway City to Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.  Please make reservations to assure your space.  Reservations for vehicles are strongly suggested well in advance.

Gustavus receives ferry service two days per week most of the year. With steady service, and only four-and-a-half hours by ferry from Juneau, it is simple to plan a short few days to this magnificent location, or stay longer to experience more of the nearby natural wonders. From Gustavus, extend your trip along Icy Strait, through some of the best whale watching waters in the state, and visit the port communities of Hoonah or Pelican.

SUMMER and WINTER. Weekly service on Monday and Thursday from and returning to Juneau.  During the Winter the majority of our visitor services are closed for the season.  Car reservations necessary.
