Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve maintains a free walk-in campground in Bartlett Cove, located in a scenic rainforest setting along the shore, 1/4-mile south of the Bartlett Cove dock. The campground features bear-proof food storage caches, composting toilets, a fire pit on the beach, and a small warming shelter. Firewoord is provided.
Please register online using the Permit Application: – Bartlett Cove Campground Permit Application. Wheelbarrows are available for transporting gear between the parking area, dock, and campground.
Please Note: Advance reservations for the campground are not accepted. Camping is first come, first served. Campers are welcome to contact the Visitor Information Station at (907) 697-2627 about space availability prior to arrival.
