Gustavus Airfield
Gustavus Airport was built during World War II. The development of the airport and the presence of the Federal Aviation Administration in Gustavus allowed the town to grow during the last half of the 20th century.
Our great runway facility, open terrain and easy approach make the Gustavus Airfield a perfect gateway to the Icy Strait area, where visitors may find many marine connections for other communities and for Glacier Bay National Park.
The asphalt runways accommodate commercial passenger jets and chartered aircraft. Scheduled service between Gustavus, Skagway, Haines, Hoonah and Juneau operate daily during the summer and on a limited basis during the winter.
Please visit the AirNav PAGS website for more technical information on the Gustavus Airfield. Or, visit FAA weather cams page.
